Two Vintage Continental Art Deco Purses

Circa 1930, the first in polychrome and gilt chain link body with gilt metal and enameled clasp frame stamped "MADE IN GERMANY with gilt metal chain handle (5 1/2 in.); the second with silk and multi-color glass beadwork pouch body, silver-toned filigree clasp handle, unmarked (6 in.). From the Estate of the Late Susan H. Ehringhaus, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Some areas of bead loss and tears/staining to silk interior, areas of rubbing to gilt and silvered metal.
