Sidney Dillon (1812–1892) was an American railroad executive who rose from construction laborer to railroad contractor and financier. He served multiple terms as president of the Union Pacific Railroad (1874–1884, 1890–1892), overseeing its construction and later its recovery from Crédit Mobilier scandal fallout, becoming one of the era's leading railroad magnates.
