Universal Genève Uni-Compax, elegant vintage manual-wind chronograph, reference 124150-1, characterized by a generously sized case for its era and an attractive original patinated dial. The case, with a diameter of about 37 mm, is made of 18 kt gold (750/1000), as evidenced by the hallmarks on the inside of the caseback. The dial presents an even patina due to the passage of time, clearly visible in the photographs. It preserves the bi-compax configuration, with the small seconds counter and the chronograph counter, applied Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, and peripheral scales. The watch is powered by a manual-wind mechanical chronograph movement, Universal Genève caliber 285, 17 jewels. Main data: Brand: Universal Genève Model: Uni-Compax Reference: 124150-1 Case number: 2,192,062 Movement: manual-wind mechanical Caliber: Universal Genève 285 17 jewels Chronograph function Case: 18 kt gold / 750 Diameter: about 37 mm, crown excluded Leather strap Non-original buckle The watch has recently been serviced and is functioning; the chronograph function is also operational. The dial, case, and other components show the normal signs of age consistent with the watch's age. The patina of the dial is an important part of this vintage specimen's character and has been deliberately left in its current state. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the condition of the watch, the movement, the caseback and the related hallmarks.
