Unworn Anchor Chain in Yellow Gold, 45.0 cm Long

Some jewelry designs are so timeless that they have been produced almost unchanged for many generations. These include, in particular, the classic chain designs that exist today in different sizes as necklaces and bracelets. Whether curb chains, Venetian chains or anchor chains, their various basic shapes have been known for centuries and have been varied again and again. Only the details of their workmanship have changed over the years, and different fashions certainly set the scene for one pattern or another. This necklace was made to our order in Pforzheim in southern Germany. It is made from 14-karat (585/000) yellow gold, which has a warm and rich glow. It features a variation of the anchor pattern and is rather narrow, giving it a light and modern look. It is closed with a practical spring ring. Gold chains are an essential accessory in any jewelry box. Whether worn alone or with a pendant, they are always versatile.
