A comprehensive monograph on Venetian painting, tracing its development and examining its leading figures. The book devotes significant attention to the masters of the Venetian Renaissance, notably Carpaccio, Titian, Tintoretto, and their contemporaries. Extensively illustrated with numerous full-page reproductions and color plates, including Carpaccio’s *The Presentation in the Temple*, Titian’s *The Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple*, as well as Tintoretto’s *Mercury and the Three Graces* and *Susanna and the Elders*. The dust jacket is worn and damaged, with tears, small losses, scuffing, and visible water damage at the bottom of the front cover; there are a few foxing spots inside. The binding and book block are in satisfactory condition.
