Vase - Porcelain - China - Rosa Family

Large Chinese baluster vase in porcelain from the Nanjing manufactory (Nankin ware), dating to the late Qing Dynasty (estimated period 1900-1910). Material: Hard porcelain with artistic relief work. The piece presents the typical crackled glaze in a cream-white color and is decorated in polychrome in the Famille Rose style. The peculiarity of the object lies in its rich historical scene of warriors and dignitaries on horseback, enriched by refined and relief-modeled details on the ceramic surface. On the neck and shoulder are hand-applied sculptural decorations, also in strong relief: handles in the shape of Foo dogs and stylized Chilong dragons with a dark bronze-like finish. At the base there is an apocryphal four-character mark "Chenghua Nian Zhi" incised in a brown oxidized frame. Conditions: In overall excellent condition. The vase is structurally intact, the upper rim is fully sound and free of cracks, warps, or previous restorations. It shows only normal, very slight signs of aging due to time and a light wear from handling on the lower edge of the raw base, as carefully documented in the attached photographs. Author: Local craftspeople and artisans of the Nanjing manufactory (late Qing Dynasty). Dimensions (cm): Height: 42 cm. Upper mouth diameter: 17.5 cm. Belly circumference: 66 cm. Lower base diameter: 14.5 cm. Weight: 3.9 kg. Shipping method: The object will be packed with maximum professional care, using bubble wrap and protective materials specific to preserve its integrity during transport. It will be shipped via trackable express courier and insured for the full sale value.
