The signature visible under the base unequivocally confirms the piece's authenticity: it is exactly the original signature "venini 98 A. Mendini" incised on the glass surface. This specific specimen is the vase "Acco" (model number 706.70), conceived by the renowned Milanese designer Alessandro Mendini for Venini furnaces in 1998. The splendid blue-green coloration is catalogued by the manufacturer as Aquamarine (or turquoise), produced with the refined technique of cameo glass on a milky white background and enriched with polished transparent details at the junctions.
