Mahogany desk clock with alarm — late 19th century. Late Victorian-era mantel clock, with an arched-profile case. Unknown maker (Winterhalder & Hofmeier?). Dial with Roman numerals, pierced hands and a centrally graduated disk to adjust the alarm. Mechanical wind-up movement by key, with pendulum and alarm mechanism on a bell. Front glass door with metal bezel and access to the movement from the back. Wear and patina consistent with the age of the item. The photographs are part of the description. It comes with the two keys required to wind the clock. Approximate running reserve of three (3) days. It is shipped well protected and with a tracking number.
