Vintage Hexagonal Country House Pillar Post Letter Box Cabinet 20th Century

This is a beautiful vintage Country House Pillar Post Letter Box, dating from the second half of the 20th century. The hexagonal shaped solid walnut country house pillar post letter box features a superbly hand carved acorn finial above a brass posting slot engraved with the word 'LETTERS', with an engraved brass collections plaque to the door. The door is fitted with a working lock and key. It is a lovely piece which is sure to add amusment where ever it is placed.
