Vitra - Charles Eames - Side table - Model B - Walnut - Model B

Vitra Stool Model B Walnut Original Stool Model B, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Vitra, finished in a warm walnut wood finish. The Stool is part of the characteristic small furniture objects from the body of work of Charles & Ray Eames. Although the design was originally conceived to be simple and functional, its sculptural form and refined use of materials give it a strong, autonomous presence. Model B distinguishes itself with its compact, solid form and carefully rounded contours. The use of walnut emphasizes the natural character of the wood and gives the piece a warm, understated appearance. The Eames Stool is versatile in use and can be applied as a stool, a side table, or purely as a decorative design object. Precisely due to its modest size and clean design, it is easy to pair with other iconic pieces of furniture. What makes this exemplar interesting is the combination of a timeless Eames design with the rich look of walnut. An object that can be approached as both functional and sculptural. A special design object for lovers of Charles & Ray Eames, Vitra and American modern design.
