Vitra - Charles Eames - Side table - Model C - Walnut - Vitra stool model C

Vitra Stool Model C — Walnut Original Stool Model C, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Vitra, finished in a warm walnut wood finish. The Stool belongs to the characteristic small pieces of furniture from the oeuvre of Charles & Ray Eames. Although the design was originally conceived as simple and functional, it has a strong, independent presence due to its sculptural form and refined use of materials. Model C is distinguished by its compact, solid form and carefully rounded contours. The use of walnut emphasizes the natural character of the wood and gives the object a warm, subdued appearance. The Eames Stool is versatile in its use and can be employed as a stool, side table, or purely as a decorative design object. Precisely because of its modest size and clear design, it can be easily combined with other iconic pieces of furniture. What makes this exemplar interesting is the combination of a timeless Eames design with the rich appearance of walnut. An object that can be approached both functionally and sculpturally. A special design object for lovers of Charles & Ray Eames, Vitra and American modern design.
