atural and vibrant color with gleaming crystals — This exceptional specimen features a Brazilian amethyst geode, a natural fragment that reveals an interior cavity densely lined with violet quartz crystals. The crystal surface is characterized by an intense, uniform violet color that captures light spectacularly, creating an effect of brilliance and depth. The beauty of this amethyst is intrinsic, unaltered by treatments, displaying its magnificence as it has formed over millions of years. Amethyst is a variety of quartz, whose violet coloration is due to iron impurities and, in particular, to natural irradiation that altered the crystal structure of the mineral. These geological processes, occurring deep in the earth, have given rise to geodes of extraordinary beauty, often found in volcanic rocks. Brazil is renowned for its rich veins of amethyst, producing specimens of the highest quality, globally appreciated for their color and formation. The geode fragment presents a rougher external surface, typical of the rock matrix, which harmoniously contrasts with the polished crystalline interior, highlighting the natural process of crystal growth. Each individual quartz crystal, although part of a larger druzy, shows its own termination, reflecting light and adding another dimension of luster to the whole. The size and weight of the specimen make it a significant piece, ideal to be displayed as a focal point in any collection. This specimen is mounted on an elegant black metal stand that enhances its verticality and allows an optimal view from every angle, highlighting the depth of color and the luster of the crystals. Its presence can enrich any environment, from a collectors’ setting to modern or classic decor. A piece of geological history and priceless decorative value, carrying the primordial energy and beauty of the earth. Conditions: The specimen is in excellent condition, with no known restorations or treatments. Any minor irregularities or color variations should be considered part of the natural formation of the mineral and attest to its authenticity and origin. Photographs faithfully capture the current state of the piece.
