GENERAL: A beautiful and characterful Volkswagen Beetle from 1985. The car rolled off the assembly line in 1985 and came to the Netherlands in 1995. From 2012 through 2026 the Beetle was owned by a single owner. The interior is still original as when the car left the factory. EXTERIOR: The body has some cosmetic blemishes around the entire surface. The paintwork is not perfect everywhere and shows signs of use and age. We have taken honest photos of this, so the condition of the car can be assessed accurately. The underbody has been worked on in the past. For a Beetle now over 40 years old, that is not unusual. The car is therefore not a concours car, but a beautiful and usable classic with authentic character. TECHNICAL: The Beetle is equipped with the 1300 cc air-cooled flat-four engine with 44 hp. The engine runs very well, starts immediately every time, and the car drives very nicely. The engine feels lively, making the car well-suited to actually drive and enjoy the character of a classic Beetle. INTERIOR: The interior is one of the most appealing features of this Beetle and is still factory-original. The car has the typical red fabric interior, with the matching blue door panels originally supplied from the factory. These original blue door panels are still present. Even a small but beautiful detail has been preserved: the original blue steering wheel cover from 1985 is still wrapped around the wheel. It is precisely these original details that make a car interesting for enthusiasts. The interior shows signs of wear and age, appropriate to the car’s age. DOCUMENTS: The chassis number is clearly legible and even the data plate is still mounted under the hood. The Beetle was produced in 1985 and came to the Netherlands in 1995.
