decorated with flowering branches and musical instrument motifs, rich rocaille-style gilded bronze ornamentation comprising volutes and foliage. The white enamelled dial, featuring Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, set within a gilded bronze disc, is signed ‘Guerbois’ in Paris.
