Alle Auktionen / Kunst und Drucke / Walt Disney - Lackey Animation Drawing - Sleeping Beauty (1959)
Sleeping Beauty (Walt Disney, 1959) Lackey Animation Drawing Featured in this lot is a 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing of Lackey, who stole the spotlight as quickly as he stole the king's wine. Produced over 65 years ago for Disney's animated masterpiece Sleeping Beauty, this lively character brought a musical touch to Princess Aurora's return celebration with a deft hand for song and wine acquisition. Rendered in graphite and red colored pencil, noted in the bottom right corner. This sequence can be found in the film starting near the 42:24 timestamp as Lackey sneaks his lute between King Stefan's legs to catch some wine and deviously walk away. The pages have light age-related toning with production handling and edge wear, a total of five reinforced pegholes, light debris, and superficial wrinkles. Overall, is in Very Good condition.
