The Walter Knoll FK Lounge 6727-3G is a masterpiece of modern furniture design and ranks among the style-defining classics of the 20th century. Its unmistakable look goes back to the Danish design duo Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, who in the late 1960s became renowned for their clean lines, uncompromising functionality, and love of high-quality materials. Their aim: to create furniture that appears timeless and yet possesses a strong architectural expression. The FK Lounge embodies exactly this attitude. The elegant, shell-shaped seating form combines purist design with excellent comfort. The generous padding and the soft leather ensure a relaxed sitting experience, while the ergonomically shaped shell provides secure support. The iconic three-legged swivel base made of polished aluminum creates, through its delicate appearance, a light, almost hovering impression – a trademark of the designers. Today, the FK Lounge is regarded as a modern classic that gives living rooms, reception areas, or high-end office lounges a special note. It combines Walter Knoll’s craftsmanship with the design heritage of two important designers – and offers design enthusiasts a piece of furniture with real history and lasting value.
