WARM MEMORIES by db Waterman Mixed Media 19.8 x 27.5 :: WARM MEMORIES is a Urban landscape Mixed Media Collage with photographic elements reminiscent of an old Polaroid photograph. db Waterman deliberately created a weathered look with visible scratches and aged textures to give the Mixed Media artwork a melancholic character. A woman in retro clothing in the foreground looks out over an iconic New York cityscape. It evokes a sense of nostalgia. The image takes the viewer back to the 1950s . It looks like an old vacation photo of a visit to New York City. The woman connects the viewer to the urban like a still moment from a forgotten era. This unique combination makes it a powerful example of contemporary urban art with a vintage slant. The combination of urban landscape texture and emotional charge makes this a powerful example of contemporary mixed media collage art with a nostalgic slant. :: Type: Mixed Media Style: Contemporary Subject: Architecture & Cityscape Width: 19.8 Height: 27.5 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 5 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
