Designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones. The small bowl has a mottled green exterior luster glaze decorated in gilt with Komainu, the Japanese counterpart to Chinese Foo Dogs. The interior is finished in mother-of-pearl luster and features Bai-Fuku and Waso-Byo-Ye, winged figures from Japanese folklore depicted riding storks. The Pan-Fei border at the rim.
