Frame size: 31 1/2 in. x 27 1/2 in. William Albert Ablett English born painter, designer and engraver. Ablett lived in Paris, France where he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts under Aublet and Grome and exhibited at the Salons. He was made a Chevalier of the Legion d'Honneur and also a member of the Royal Academy in London. He is best known for his fashionable portraits of women.Measurements: Height: by sight 23 1/4 in. x Width: 19 1/8 in. Condition: Good condition, minor craquelure to dress.
