WMF - Teapot (2) - Silverplated - Teapot with WMF tray

Set consisting of a teapot and tray in Jugendstil, made in silver-plated metal by the firm WMF in Germany between 1900 and 1910. The teapot features an oval body inspired by Baroque, with a fluted profile, raised base, long pouring spout and curved handle with insulating elements. It has a domed lid hinged and topped by a ribbed knob. The piece preserves at the base the WMF mark with the ostrich crest, corresponding to the German firm’s production in the early 20th century. It is accompanied by an oval WMF tray in silver-plated metal, in Jugendstil style with the edge decorated with the characteristic vegetal finish.
