Woolly Mammoth - Fossil tooth - Mammuthus primigenius...

Hereby I offer a set of 2 fossils originating from the woolly mammoth: - Display case with a real fragment of tusk, originating from the North Sea, Netherlands - Display case with a tooth fragment, originating from the Siberian permafrost, Russia Both pieces have been artistically treated and prepared: The tusk fragment has been carefully conserved, polished, and put on display, so that the incredible colors become visible. The tooth has first been stabilized, and subsequently ground and cut into an oval shape, to receive a final layer, so that the inner structure of the tooth, which normally remains hidden, comes to the surface. Both pieces come with the shown display cases and information cards, as well as holders for both. Happy bidding!
