World 1890/1910 - Worldwide Stamp Collection (19th/early...

A substantial, vintage worldwide stamp collection housed in an original Schaubek Album - Victoria Ausgabe (circa 1890–1910), accompanied by its original vintage world map (Lücke's Länder- und Weltverkehrskarte) and alphabetical index pages. Photographs: High-resolution photos of every single page of the album have been taken and uploaded to provide complete transparency regarding the contents, overall condition, and empty spaces. Black & White Page Illustrations: Please note that the black-and-white images printed directly on the album pages are illustrations / placeholders showing where stamps should go, NOT actual stamps. The collection is not complete—there are empty printed placeholders throughout the album, as clearly visible in the photos. Classic Africa & British Colonies: Rare Triangle stamps of Cape of Good Hope, Natal, Mauritius, St. Helena, Egypt (including O.H.H.S. official overprints), and the collectible founding issue of the Union of South Africa (1910) South-East Asia & Far East: Philippines, Siam, Straits Settlements, North Borneo (featuring iconic pictorials including the crocodile), and Labuan. Dutch Indies (Nederlandsch-Indie): Rich sections of 19th/early 20th-century issues (Queen Wilhelmina, Buiten Bezit, Java, and Te Betalen postage dues). Malayan States & Japan: Federated Malay States (Tiger issues), classic Japanese issues (Sen, 1 Yen, and 1906 commemoratives). China & Asian Colonies: Classic Imperial China (Dragons & Republic), Hong Kong, Indochina, Brunei, and Johor. British Commonwealth & Europe: Great Britain (Victorian Jubilee issues, Edward VII, George V, and a British Levant 40 Paras with Salonica postmark), Cyprus, Ceylon, British India (Convention States like Gwalior/Patiala, and On H.S.M. service marks), Germany, Hungary, Russian Empire (Romanov Dynasty 1913 set), Scandinavia, and Austria. Stamps & Mounting: All stamps are hinged on the album pages. Due to the high age of the album, some stamps may be stuck more firmly or fully adhered to the paper over time (due to aged hinges, dry glue, or humidity). Album Condition: The album cover and spine show heavy age-related wear, rubbing, and deterioration, as typical for its age. The collection is sold as is. Please carefully examine all photos to form your own impression of the contents and condition before bidding.
