Savoyard armet in wrought iron, 16th century. Visor sculpted with a motif of a smiling face. Helmet - armet in blackened wrought iron. Heavy skull cap in two parts, with a crested bombe. Nuchal guard and mail aventail, perforated, articulated. Bulging gorget. Northern Italian work from the 16th century Complete helmet in very good condition. All parts are original and have not been restored. Coming from an old Versailles collection.
