XL, CV3, CARBONACEOUS Chondrite Meteorite (Sahara

Spectacular CV3 carbonaceous chondrite meteorite, in which we can observe a multitude of chondrules on its surface, representing the oldest material in the solar system, with an estimated age of 4.567 billion years. It was recently found in 2026 in the Sahara Desert. It contains a certain amount of iron, as seen in the second photograph, where a neodymium magnet sticks to it, something not very common in CV3 carbonaceous chondrites. This is a specimen of size and quality worthy of a major collection or museum. CV3 chondrites are famous for their CAIs (calcium and aluminum-rich inclusions), generally among the oldest materials in the solar system since they were the first materials to solidify in the solar nebula, and therefore among the oldest materials ever described and found. In this specimen, several of various sizes can be seen, as well as hundreds of chondrules on the surface. CV3 chondrites like this are rich in amino acids and water, and thus are considered one of the fundamental pillars supporting the theory that the seeds of life could have arrived on Earth with this type of meteorite. All of our meteorites come with a certificate from IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association), GMA (Global Meteorite Association), and The Meteoritical Society, guaranteeing the authenticity of all our meteorites for life. Buy with guarantees. Regards and best wishes. CRATER METEORITES
