Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / XTC Artist (1978) - Milk or Bleu de Chanel ?

Hand-finished plastic sculpture by the Artist XTC with acrylic paints and varnish and vinyl, created on a commercially manufactured blank base. The edition number applies to the artist-painted finish and not to the base object. Plastic box painted by the artist, vinyl, varnish. Glass is not provided ;) (unusual object, cannot be used for food!) Numbered out of 30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided. Careful and tracked shipping. Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual inquiry turned into a passion that had to be realized. XTC defines himself as a self-taught plastic artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral substances. He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general. All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work. HAND-FINISHED “Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, retouched by hand by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and vinyl.” Sold without the glass base Sculpture Blue of Chanel like a milk brick!
