Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / XTC Artist - Batte CARAMBAR Black
Black CARAMBAR Baseball Bat by XTC, with its back-approved joke, of course! Aluminium sculpture commercially manufactured (baseball bat) and customized, finishing by hand by the Artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the painted finish by the artist and not to the base object, the bat. Completely painted with Montana spray paints, Posca markers, and varnish. Only painted, no stickers for a homogeneous result and better longevity. Numbered out of 30 and signed at the end of the bat, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided. (The copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.) Careful packaging and tracked shipping. Born in 1978 in central France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that needed to materialize. XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption, which he makes clash with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials. All possible defects are part of the artwork due to its entirely manual creation.
