About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the realm of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works delicately and powerfully address topics such as beauty, love, sensuality and female delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, yielding versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, masterful use of color, and emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and sent in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos Spain, depending on destination and the most convenient option in each case. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, although it may vary depending on the destination country. The work features a bust of the character Wolverine, sculpted with a technique that simulates fragmentation. Its body is composed of countless geometric pieces that, when joined, form its anatomy. This representation is directly related to the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, which consists of repairing broken ceramics with gold lacquer, highlighting the cracks as part of the object's history. In this piece, rather than concealing the fractures, a brilliant golden light emanating from within fills the gaps, transforming the hero’s wounds and vulnerability into a source of strength and resilient beauty, demonstrating that scars are part of his story and that there is value and dignity in imperfection accepted.
