About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation, and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works delicately and powerfully address themes such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always framed in immersive, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, yielding versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, masterful use of color, and emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The artwork will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a hard cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. This Virgin Mary sculpture does not represent pristine integrity, but the beauty of reconstruction and resilience, deeply inspired by the Japanese Kintsugi technique. The figure appears composed of countless fragments of ceramic, where every crack and join between broken parts is not hidden but highlighted with dazzling gold resin. These golden lines run across her mantle, her green tunic, her hands, and even her face, transforming the story of fracture into an intricate and precious design that enhances its spiritual value. The work suggests that trials and scars, rather than diminishing her divinity, make her stronger and more beautiful, celebrating the imperfect perfection of what has been repaired and elevated to a higher state of grace.
