Yema Rallygraf Classic Racing – Morteau France – Gold Plated – Meca-Quartz Chronograph – 10 BAR– 2010s–2020s A distinctive Yema Rallygraf chronograph, inspired by the French brand’s long-standing connection with motorsport and racing chronographs. This example features an attractive gold-tone case combined with a black tachymeter bezel and black dial, creating a strong vintage-racing aesthetic. The dial carries the characteristic Rallygraf signature, applied hour markers, two contrasting subdials, central chronograph seconds and a framed date aperture at 6 o’clock. The case back reinforces the motorsport identity with an engraved “Classic Racing School” single-seater racing car motif, together with the Yema, Morteau and France markings. The gold-tone case is well preserved overall, with light surface marks visible under close inspection. The black tachymeter bezel remains attractive and clearly legible. The black dial is very well preserved, with the applied indexes, hands, subdials and Rallygraf graphics retaining a clean appearance. The racing-style black leather strap is original Yema and shows light signs of use. The watch is marked 10 BAR / 100 m on the case back. However, water resistance has not been tested and is therefore not guaranteed. Please study all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual condition of the item. Story & Heritage Founded in France in 1948, Yema developed a strong reputation for purpose-built sports watches and became particularly associated with diving, aviation and motorsport. The Rallygraf name occupies an important place in Yema’s racing heritage. The original Rallygraf chronographs appeared during the golden age of motorsport, with their distinctive dashboard-inspired layouts and tachymeter scales reflecting the close relationship between mechanical watches and automobile competition. This modern Rallygraf carries that heritage into a contemporary format. The meca-quartz movement combines quartz timekeeping with the tactile character of a mechanically actuated chronograph system, while the twin-counter dial, tachymeter bezel and perforated racing strap preserve the visual language of classic racing chronographs. The combination of a gold-tone case and black racing dial gives this example a particularly striking character, balancing vintage inspiration with modern usability.
