Yorkshire Potteries treacle glaze Cow group, c. 1830.
An unusual Yorkshire Potteries cow group, probably Mexborough, c. 1830. Modelled as a shepherd stood before a large cow, with his dog sat to the side. Set upon a shaped grassy mound base. Unusually, covered in a ‘treacle glaze’.
