(first two pages loose and ragged, maps and engravings damaged/ ragged/ smaller and loose in block (see photo); several quires with typical browning and moisture stains in the lower margin, a stray spot: s.w.a.f.). Textually complete. Very rare edition of the Statenbijbel. This edition results from a special collaboration of printers 'wid. G. de Groot, Jan van Heekeren, Isaac van der Putte, Anthony van Hasebroek, Bastiaan Beaumont. In compagnie' is rarely offered. A charming Statenbijbel with beautiful initials and vignettes. Equipped with 2 maps and many engravings (see photo). The numerous copper engravings on the engravings plates are very detailed, deep and dark prints.
