Set of two postmodern dining chairs, designed by Christian Erker for Zumsteg Collection, Switzerland, circa the 1990s. A characteristic design with geometric shaping and a distinctive combination of brushed metal/stainless steel and curved wooden elements. The three curved wooden back sections and the triangular shape of the seat give the chairs their recognizable postmodern appearance. The chairs were reupholstered at a later date with a striking yellow fabric. The upholstery is therefore not original. The yellow covering with round tufted details complements the pronounced character of the design. The chairs are in good vintage condition, with signs of wear fitting their age and use. The frame and the wooden parts have been well preserved. Please examine the photos carefully for a full depiction of the condition.
